وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا نِكَاحَ إِلَّا بِوَلِيٍّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ صَهْبَانَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no marriage without a guardian."
