Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7391

Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah states: Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) had a discussion about mut'ah with women, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "You are a man who has gone astray. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade mut'ah with women on the occasion of the Farewell Hajj."
(Allamah Haythami says:) I say: In the "Sahih"
this narration is recorded: it was forbidden on the occasion of the expedition of Khaybar.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
