Book of Freeing Slaves
بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَعْتَقَ نَصِيبًا فِي عَبْدٍ .
One who frees his share in a slave
Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7293
اُردوEn
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : " فَعَلَيْهِ جَوَازُ عِتْقِهِ إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ مَالٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ . وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عُبَادَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ . وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يَحْيَى لَمْ يُدْرِكْ عُبَادَةَ .
In one narration the words are: "Then it will be binding on him to have him freed completely, if that person has wealth."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration, and the narrator Ishaq bin Yahya did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him).
