Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7285

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A slave was owned by ten men. Nine of them freed (their respective shares), and the tenth refused to free his share. He said: "O Messenger of Allah! This is my standing." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Your standing is in it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin al-Fadl, who is matruk (abandoned).
