Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 7226

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When the servant of one of you brings him food, he should bring his servant close, seat him with himself (at the meal) and give him a morsel, for he has borne the heat and the smoke of (cooking) it."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim al-Hajari, who is da'if (weak).
