بَابُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَى الْمَوَالِي وَالْوَصِيَّةِ بِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : كَلَّمَ طَلْحَةُ عَامِرَ بْنَ فُهَيْرَةَ بِشَيْءٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَهْلًا يَا طَلْحَةُ ، فَإِنَّهُ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا كَمَا شَهِدْتَهُ وَخَيْرُكُمْ خَيْرُكُمْ لِمَوَالِيهِمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَفِيهِ مُصْعَبُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) said (something harsh) to Amir bin Fuhayrah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O Talhah, stop! He took part in Badr just as you took part in it. The best of you are those who are best to their slaves."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in all three of his books; its chain contains Mus'ab bin Mus'ab, who is da'if (weak).
