Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person who does not treat slaves well will not enter Paradise." A man said: O Messenger of Allah, did you not tell us that this Ummah will have more slaves and orphans than all other nations? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes. So honour them as you honour your own children, and feed them from what you eat." They said: O Messenger of Allah, what of this world benefits us? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A horse that you keep tied, on which you ride and fight in the path of Allah, and a slave who does your work for you. When he prays, he is your brother; when he prays, he is your brother." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Tirmidhi and others recorded part of this narration.
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Farqad al-Sabakhi, who is da'if (weak).
