بَابُ الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَى الْمَوَالِي وَالْوَصِيَّةِ بِهِمْ .

وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِخْوَانُكُمْ فَأَصْلِحُوا إِلَيْهِمْ وَاسْتَعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى مَا غُلِبُوا ، وَأَعِينُوهُمْ عَلَى مَا غَلَبَهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

A Companion of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(These slaves) are your brothers, so treat them well. Seek their help in the work they are able to do, and help them with what is overpowering them."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
