Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 714

Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has disliked three things for you: qil wa qal (that is, needless argument), asking (needless) questions excessively, and wasting wealth."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Imran al-Qattan, whom Yahya bin Ma'in, Abu Dawud and al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak), while Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned him in Kitab al-Thiqat. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Hadiths of this kind will come in the chapter on disobedience (to parents).
