وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ الْمُسْلِمَ لَيَصْنَعُ فِي ثُلُثِهِ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ خَيْرًا فَيُوَفِّي اللَّهُ بِذَلِكَ زَكَاتَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates as a marfu' hadith: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a Muslim man does good with one third of his wealth near his death, Allah Almighty thereby completes his zakah for him."
