وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " " عَسَى أَنْ يُكَذِّبَنِي رَجُلٌ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى أَرِيكَتِهِ ، يَبْلُغُهُ الْحَدِيثُ عَنِّي فَيَقُولُ : مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - دَعْ هَذَا ، وَهَاتِ مَا فِي الْقُرْآنِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الرَّقَاشِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon a man will deny me while reclining on his cushion; a hadith will reach him on my authority, and he will say: 'Leave what the Messenger of Allah said, and bring what is in the Qur'an.'"
