Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6884

Al-Tabarani also recorded a narration from Sayyiduna Ya'la (may Allah be pleased with him), in which he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever wrongfully takes a hand-span of land, or more than that, will be required to dig it until he reaches water, and then to carry that soil to the plain of gathering." The chain of this narration contains Jabir al-Ju'fi, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
