بَابٌ فِيمَنْ غَصَبَ أَرْضًا .
One who seizes land by force

وَعَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " أَيَّمَا رَجُلٍ ظَلَمَ شِبْرًا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ كَلَّفَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنْ يَحْفِرَهُ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ آخِرَ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ ، ثُمَّ يُطَوَّقُهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُقْضَى بَيْنَ النَّاسِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُ بَعْضِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَقَالَ : " ثُمَّ يُطَوَّقُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ بِنَحْوِهِ بِأَسَانِيدَ ، وَرِجَالُ بَعْضِهَا رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَقَالَ : " ثُمَّ يُطَوَّقُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any man who wrongfully seizes a hand-span of land, Allah Almighty will require him to dig it until he reaches the bottom of the seventh earth, and then a collar of that land will be put around his neck until the Day of Resurrection, until judgment is passed between the people."
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, recorded something similar with several chains, and the narrators of some of them are the narrators of the Sahih. He said in it: "Then he will be made to wear it as a collar on the Day of Resurrection."
