وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الشُّفْعَةُ فِي كُلِّ مَا لَمْ تَقَعِ الْحُدُودُ ، فَإِذَا وَقَعَتِ الْحُدُودُ فَلَا شُفْعَةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعُمَرِيُّ ، وَكَانَ كَذَّابًا .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Pre-emption (shuf'ah) applies to everything in which boundaries have not been fixed; when boundaries have been fixed, then there is no pre-emption."
Imam Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Abdullah al-Umari, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
