وَعَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " " إِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَتَبُوا كِتَابًا وَاتَّبَعُوهُ ، وَتَرَكُوا التَّوْرَاةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَقَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، وَقَدْ ضَعَّفَهُ غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Children of Israel wrote a book and began to follow it, and they abandoned the Torah."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Uthman bin Abi Shaybah, who is thiqah (trustworthy), though more than one scholar has declared him da'if (weak).
