وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " أَدِّ الْأَمَانَةَ إِلَى مَنِ ائْتَمَنَكَ ، وَلَا تَخُنْ مَنْ خَانَكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ : تَكَلَّمُوا فِيهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ : تَكَلَّمُوا فِيهِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Render the trust to the one who entrusted it to you, and do not betray the one who has betrayed you."
At-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Uthman bin Salih al-Misri, about whom Ibn Abi Hatim said: The hadith scholars have criticised him.
