وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " " إِذَا حَدَّثْتُمْ عَنِّي حَدِيثًا ، فَوَافَقَ الْحَقَّ - فَأَنَا قُلْتُهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ أَشْعَثُ بْنُ بِرَازٍ ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَهُ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a hadith is narrated to you on my authority and it agrees with the truth, then it is I who said it."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ash'ath bin Biraz, and I have not seen anyone mention him.
