Sayyiduna Abu Humayd (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Usayd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When you hear a hadith on my authority with which your hearts (that is, minds) are familiar, for which your hair and your skin soften, and which you feel is close to you, then I am more entitled to it than you. And when you hear a hadith on my authority which your hearts reject, from which your hair and your skin recoil, and which you feel is far from you, then I am the furthest of you from it."
Imam Ahmad and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
