Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6670

Sayyiduna Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I bear witness concerning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as I state this, that I heard him (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The first of people to come into the shade of Allah on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who gave respite to one in hardship until he found the means, or gave him in charity what he was owed by him, saying: 'What you owe me is charity upon you, for the sake of Allah's pleasure,' and then tore up the (transaction) document." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith from Sayyiduna Abu al-Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) is mentioned in the "Sahih", and it is other than this hadith.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
