Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6669

Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives respite to one in hardship or remits his payment for him, Allah Almighty will grant him His shade on the Day of Resurrection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Khalid bin Abd al-Rahman al-Makhzumi, and there is agreement that he is da'if (weak).
