Majma al-Zawaid 6671 — One who relieves a person in hardship, gives

Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever gives respite to one in hardship, or gives (the payment due) to him in charity, Allah Almighty will keep him in His shade on the Day of Resurrection."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Sallam al-Ifriqi, who is da'if (weak).
