عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حَيْدَةَ قَالَ : خَطَبَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَ : " حَتَّى مَتَى تُرْعَوْنَ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الْفَاجِرِ ، هَتِّكُوهُ حَتَّى يَحْذَرَهُ النَّاسُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ حَسَنٌ ، رِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي بَعْضِهِمُ اخْتِلَافًا لَا يَضُرُّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَإِسْنَادُ الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ حَسَنٌ ، رِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ ، وَاخْتُلِفَ فِي بَعْضِهِمُ اخْتِلَافًا لَا يَضُرُّ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed them in a sermon and said: "How long will you remain troubled about mentioning the wicked person? Expose him, so that people may beware of him."
Tabarani recorded it in all three (of his Mu'jams). The chain of al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir is hasan (good), and its narrators have been declared trustworthy; there is disagreement about some of its narrators, but of a kind that does no harm.
