وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنِ احْتَكَرَ حُكْرَةً يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُغْلِيَ بِهَا عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَهُوَ خَاطِئٌ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever hoards something, intending by it to raise prices against the Muslims, such a person is a sinner."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator Abu Ma'shar, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
