وَعَنْ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ قَالَ : قَالُوا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، سَعِّرْ لَنَا . قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْمُسَعِّرُ الْقَابِضُ الْبَاسِطُ ، وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَلْقَى اللَّهَ تَعَالَى وَلَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يَطْلُبُنِي بِمَظْلَمَةٍ فِي عِرْضٍ ، وَلَا مَالٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Juhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The people submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! Fix prices for us." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty alone is the One who fixes prices, the One who constricts and the One who expands. I hope that when I come before Allah Almighty, none of you will have any claim against me for a wrong done concerning honour or wealth."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ghassan bin al-Rabi', who is da'if (weak).
