وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، وَفِي قَيْسِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ كَلَامٌ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ شُعْبَةُ وَالثَّوْرِيُّ .

Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deceives us is not one of us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). A narrator named Qays bin al-Rabi' has been criticised; Shu'bah and al-Thawri declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
