وَعَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَ : مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ : " مَنْ غَشَّنَا فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ سَوَّارُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by, put his blessed hand (into some grain) and said: "He is not one of us who deceives us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Sawwar bin Mus'ab, and he is matruk (abandoned).
