وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " اسْتَوْصُوا بِالْمَعْزَى خَيْرًا ، فَإِنَّهَا مَالٌ رَقِيقٌ ، وَهُوَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَأَحَبُّ الْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ الضَّأْنُ ، وَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالْبَيَاضِ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ الْجَنَّةَ بَيْضَاءَ فَلْيَلْبَسْهُ أَحْيَاؤُكُمْ ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهِ مَوْتَاكُمْ ، وَإِنَّ دَمَ الشَّاةِ الْبَيْضَاءِ أَعْظَمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ دَمِ السَّوْدَاوَيْنِ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَى أَبُوَ دَاوُدَ ، وَغَيْرُهُ طَرَفًا مِنْهُ فِي لِبَاسِ الْأَبْيَضِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حَمْزَةُ النَّصِيبِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَى أَبُوَ دَاوُدَ ، وَغَيْرُهُ طَرَفًا مِنْهُ فِي لِبَاسِ الْأَبْيَضِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ حَمْزَةُ النَّصِيبِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Accept the counsel to treat goats well, for they are delicate property, and they will be in Paradise. The most beloved property to Allah Almighty is sheep. Hold to white, for Allah Almighty created Paradise white; let your living wear it, and shroud your dead in white. And the blood of a white sheep is greater in the sight of Allah Almighty than the blood of two black sheep." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Imam Abu Dawud and others have recorded part of this narration, the part about white clothing.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hamzah al-Nasibi, who is matruk (abandoned).
