وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا أَتْقَاهُ ! مَا أَتْقَاهُ ! مَا أَتْقَاهُ ؛ رَاعِي غَنَمٍ عَلَى رَأْسِ جَبَلٍ يُقِيمُ [ فِيهَا ] الصَّلَاةَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ ، وَهُوَ مُجْمَعٌ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "How God-fearing he is! How God-fearing he is! How God-fearing he is: a shepherd of sheep on the top of a mountain who establishes prayer there."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ufayr bin Ma'dan, whose weakness is agreed upon.
