Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 6256

Muhammad bin al-Hanafiyyah reported from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as a marfu' hadith (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "There is no people in whose houses (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) with whom there is a goat, but they are granted purification twice every day (the narrator is unsure; perhaps the words are:) blessing is sent down upon them twice (the narrator says:) he meant a milk-giving goat."
Al-Bazzar recorded it as both marfu' and mawquf; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Salman, who is matruk (abandoned).
