بَابٌ فِيمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
One who lies about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)

اُردوEn
وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare to take his particular seat in Hell."
Imam Ahmad, and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, recorded this narration, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
