وَعَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنْ قَالَتْ إِحْدَانَا لِشَيْءٍ تَشْتَهِيهِ : لَا أَشْتَهِيهِ يُعَدُّ ذَلِكَ كَذِبًا ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْكَذِبَ يُكْتَبُ كَذِبًا حَتَّى تَكْتُبَ الْكُذَيْبَةُ كُذَيْبَةً " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ أَبُو شَدَّادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ فِي الْمِيزَانِ : لَمْ يَرْوِ عَنْهُ سِوَى ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ . قُلْتُ : قَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيُّ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ ، فَارْتَفَعَتِ الْجَهَالَةُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِهِ أَبُو شَدَّادٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، قَالَ فِي الْمِيزَانِ : لَمْ يَرْوِ عَنْهُ سِوَى ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ . قُلْتُ : قَدْ رَوَى عَنْهُ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيُّ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي الْمُسْنَدِ ، فَارْتَفَعَتِ الْجَهَالَةُ .
Sayyidah Asma' bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! If one of us says about something she desires, 'I do not desire it', will that be counted as a lie?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A lie is recorded as a lie, even a small lie is recorded as a small lie."
Imam Ahmad, and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, recorded this narration within a long hadith. Its chain mentions: Abu Shaddad narrated it from Mujahid. The author of "al-Mizan" says: No one other than Ibn Jurayj narrated from him. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Yunus bin Yazid al-Ayli narrated this hadith from him, as mentioned in the "Musnad", so his being unknown is removed.
