Majma al-Zawaid 5809 — The prohibition of hunting in Madinah

Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) made hunting unlawful between the two edges (lava tracts) of Madinah.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Kharijah bin Abdullah bin Abd al-Malik; I have not found anyone who gives his biography, and the rest of the narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).
