وَعَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَبِي حَسَنٍ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ الْأَسْوَافَ فَأَثَرْتُ - قَالَ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ مَرَّةً : فَأَخَذْتُ - دُبْسِيَّيْنِ ، قَالَ : وَأُمُّهُمَا تُرَشْرِشُ عَلَيْهِمَا ، وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ أَنْ آخُذَهُمَا قَالَ : فَدَخَلَ عَلَيَّ أَبُو حَسَنٍ فَأَخَذَ مِتْيَخَةً فَضَرَبَنِي بِهَا ، فَقَالَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مِنَّا - يُقَالُ لَهَا : مَرْيَمُ : لَقَدْ تَعِسْتُ مِنْ عَضُدِهِ مِنْ تَكْسِيرِ الْمِتْيَخَةِ ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ لِي : أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيِ الْمَدِينَةِ ؟ ! .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُ الْمُسْنَدِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Yahya bin Umarah reports about his grandfather Abu Hasan that he narrated: I entered al-Aswaf and caught two birds called "dubsi". He says: Their mother was hovering over them, and I set about catching her. Meanwhile Abu Hasan came to me. He took a stick and struck me with it. A woman from our tribe named Maryam said: "Will you break his arm by striking him with sticks?" Then Abu Hasan said to me: "Do you not know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) declared the area between the two edges (lava tracts) of Madinah a sanctuary?"
