It is reported about Abdullah bin Abbad al-Zuraqi that he was hunting sparrows at Bi'r Ihab. He narrates: Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) saw me while I was holding a sparrow I had caught. He took it from me and said to me: "The Messenger of Allah declared the area between the two edges of this (city) a sanctuary, just as Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him) declared Makkah sacred."
Imam Ahmad, Imam al-Bazzar and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Abbad al-Zuraqi; I have not found anyone who gives his biography, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
