Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5538

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: It is the Sunnah for the pilgrim to offer the Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajr prayers of the Day of Tarwiyah at Mina. Then he should set out and come to the place that Allah Almighty has decreed for him. Then, when the sun passes the meridian, he should proceed and address the people with a sermon. Then he should halt and combine the two prayers, Zuhr and Asr. Then he should stand at Arafah, and when the sun sets, he should depart from there. Then he should offer the Maghrib prayer wherever Allah has destined for him to offer it. Then he should stand at Muzdalifah, and when true dawn breaks, he should offer the Fajr prayer, and then depart when it becomes light. Once he has stoned the Jamrah, everything that was forbidden to him becomes lawful for him, except that women do not become lawful for him until he has performed the Tawaf of the House.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Abdullah bin Salih, the scribe of al-Layth. Abd al-Malik bin Shu'ayb bin al-Layth said: "He is thiqah ma'mun (trustworthy and reliable)," while the Imams, Ahmad and others, declared him da'if (weak).
