عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسْتَحِبُّ إِذَا اسْتَطَاعَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى مِنْ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ ، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ يَوْمَ التَّرْوِيَةِ بِمِنًى .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

It is reported about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he considered it recommended, if he was able, to offer the Zuhr prayer at Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah. The reason for this was that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the Zuhr prayer at Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
