وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ : " يَا عُمَرُ إِنَّكَ رَجُلٌ قَوِيٌّ لَا تُزَاحِمْ عَلَى الْحَجَرِ فَتُؤْذِي الضَّعِيفَ ، إِنْ وَجَدْتَ خَلْوَةً فَاسْتَلِمْهُ ، وَإِلَّا فَاسْتَقْبِلْهُ وَهَلِّلْ وَكَبِّرْ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ .

Sayyiduna Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O Umar! You are a strong man; if you push into the crowd at the Black Stone, you will harm the weak person. If you find a clear space, touch it; otherwise face it, say 'La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah)', and say the takbir."
