Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5449

Abu Shaykh al-Huna'i narrates: Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said to a group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Do you know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade Hajj al-Tamattu'?" They replied: "No!"
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Imam Abu Dawud recorded from him a narration about the prohibition of Hajj al-Qiran.
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
