Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5275

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, this House is one of the pillars of Islam. Whoever performs Hajj to the House or performs Umrah is under the guarantee of Allah Almighty: if he dies, Allah Almighty will admit him into Paradise, and if Allah Almighty returns him to his family, He will return him with reward and gain."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Ubayd bin Umayr, who is matruk (abandoned).
