Muhammad bin al-Munkadir narrates: A man met Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who was at that time riding a weak she-camel that was not worth even ten dirhams. The man said to him: O Abu Abd al-Rahman, are you going for Hajj on this? He replied: Yes. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Do not abandon Hajj, even if it is on a weak she-camel worth ten dirhams." (Then Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said:) By Allah, no other mount was available to me, and I was not going to abandon Hajj.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abdullah bin Sinan al-Zuhri, who is da'if (weak).
