Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 5229

Sayyidah Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to my house on the day of the Conquest of Makkah while I was fasting. I brought him a cup of milk; he drank from it and then said: "You drink too." I said: "I am fasting." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Is it a make-up fast?" I said: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then drink." (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: Al-Tirmidhi has also recorded a different hadith from Sayyidah Umm Hani' (may Allah be pleased with her).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named.
