وَعَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ لُدَيْنٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عِيدُكُمْ فَلَا تَصُومُوهُ إِلَّا أَنْ تَصُومُوا قَبْلَهُ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Amir bin Ludayn al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Indeed, Friday is your Eid, so do not fast on it, unless you also fast a day before it or a day after it, in which case the ruling is different."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).
