بَابٌ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ يَتَعَلَّمُهُ الرَّجُلُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَلْفِ رَكْعَةٍ تَطَوُّعًا .

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مُعَلِّمُ الْخَيْرِ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهُ كُلُّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى الْحِيتَانُ فِي الْبِحَارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ الْأَزْدِيُّ : مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلَا يُلْتَفَتُ إِلَى قَوْلِ الْأَزْدِيِّ فِي مِثْلِهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ ، وَقَالَ الْأَزْدِيُّ : مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ ، وَلَا يُلْتَفَتُ إِلَى قَوْلِ الْأَزْدِيِّ فِي مِثْلِهِ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the one who teaches goodness, everything prays for forgiveness, even the fish in the seas."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Abdullah bin Zurarah, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy). Al-Azdi says: he is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected), but in a case like this the statement of al-Azdi is not given consideration. The remaining narrators of this narration are the narrators of the Sahih.
