بَابٌ فِيمَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَسِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ .
One who fasts Ramadan and six days of Shawwal

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَجَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَأَتْبَعَهُ سِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ صَامَ السَّنَةَ كُلَّهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَازِنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever fasts Ramadan and then after it fasts six days of Shawwal has fasted the whole year."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Yahya bin Sa'id al-Mazini, who is matruk (abandoned).
