بَابٌ فِيمَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَسِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَامَ رَمَضَانَ وَأَتْبَعَهُ سِتًّا مِنْ شَوَّالٍ خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَسْلَمَةُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخُشَنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan and then after it fasts six days of Shawwal comes out of his sins as he was on the day his mother gave birth to him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Maslamah bin Ali al-Khushani, who is da'if (weak).
