Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4722

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever feeds a believer until he satisfies him in his hunger, Allah Almighty will admit him through one of the gates of Paradise through which no one will enter except the one who has done the like of what he did."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin Waqid, and there is criticism of him. Muhammad bin al-Mubarak al-Suri said: He used to frequent the ruler of the time; otherwise he is saduq (truthful).
