Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4723

Abu Junaydah al-Fihri reports from his father, from his grandfather: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives water to a thirsty person until his thirst is quenched, a gate of Paradise will be opened for him and it will be said to him: 'Enter through it.' And whoever feeds a hungry person until he is full and gives water to a thirsty person until his thirst is quenched, all the gates of Paradise will be opened for him and it will be said to him: 'Enter through whichever of them you wish.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Farwah, and he is da'if (weak).
