وَعَنْ صَعْصَعَةَ بْنِ نَاجِيَةَ قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، رُبَّمَا فَضَلَتْ لِي الْفَضْلَةُ خَبَّأْتُهَا لِلنَّائِبَةِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أُمَّكَ وَأَبَاكَ ، وَأُخْتَكَ وَأَخَاكَ ، وَأَدْنَاكَ أَدْنَاكَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Sayyiduna Sa'sa'ah bin Najiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came into the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Sometimes I have something surplus which I set aside for some hardship or for a traveller. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your mother, your father, your sister, your brother, and your nearest relatives in order of closeness (spend the surplus on them).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator whom I do not know.
