وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ سَبْعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ ، وَعَلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ خَمْسَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ ، ثُمَّ كَانَ آخِرُ صِلَاتِهِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ حَتَّى خَرَجَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ فِيهِ نَافِعٌ أَبُو هُرْمُزَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْغَائِبِ : أَنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ خَمْسَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ فِيهِ نَافِعٌ أَبُو هُرْمُزَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَيَأْتِي حَدِيثٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْغَائِبِ : أَنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى النَّجَاشِيِّ خَمْسَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (when leading funeral prayers) said seven takbirs over the people of Badr and five takbirs over Banu Hashim, and in the last funeral prayer he led he said four takbirs, until he departed from this world.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains Nafi' Abu Hurmuz, who is da'if (weak).
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: In the chapter on the funeral prayer in absentia a hadith will come stating that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said five takbirs in the funeral prayer of the Negus (al-Najashi).
