Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 4121

It is reported from Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), or from one of the two, that he said: "When the funeral of a Jew passed by him, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up, and he said: 'Its smell has bothered me.'"
Allamah al-Haythami says: I say: Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded the hadith of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), but it does not contain the words: "Its smell has bothered me." As for the hadith of Sayyiduna Imam Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him), none of the other hadith scholars recorded it.
Ahmad, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, recorded something similar, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
